Arewa Forum kicks against Akpabio as Senate President

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has dissociated itself from the endorsement of Sen. Godswill Akpabio for Senate Presidency by the Coalition of Northern teams.

Alhaji Musa Saidu, a member of the ACF acknowledged this in an announcement on Sunday in Abuja.

Saidu, furthermore the leader of the Arewa Team in Southern Nigeria, acknowledged that endorsing Akpabio for the Senate Presidency would spell doom for Northern Nigeria.

“We hereby dissociate ourselves from the endorsement of Sen. Godswill Akpabio for the Senate Presidency by a coalition of Northern teams.

“The Coalition is no longer talking for the North, it’s honest talking for itself.

“No honest Northern team will must endorse Akpabio for a sensitive position admire that of Senate President as a consequence of he is no longer friendly with the North.

“We are the these that know Akpabio as a consequence of we’re residents in the South, we know people who’re friendly with the Northern people and Akpabio is truly no longer one among them, ” he acknowledged.

Saidu added that the coalition must own made the endorsement out of lack of skills.
