This is Francis John, Executive Director of HOPe Africa, and I’m reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for you and your family. We invite you to join us for a vibrant cultural experience at African History Saturday on July 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DuBois Learning Center, located at 4510 E. Linwood Blvd., KCMO 64128.
Event Highlights:
- Educational Journey: Dive into the rich histories of Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon. Learn about their cultures and significant events before, during, and after the transatlantic slave trade.
- Creative Activities: Participate in crafting handheld African flags, a hands-on activity that makes history come alive.
- Engaging Speaker: We are honored to have Ms. Gigi Owens from the International Black Hat Society, who will share her insights and experiences.
