Atiku Abubakar, the extinct Vice President of Nigeria, has said that if he becomes president, he is no longer going to offer an ambassadorial appointment to the instantaneous past chairman of the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, no longer like President Bola Tinubu.
Recall that President Tinubu no longer too long within the past nominated Mahmood Yakubu, the extinct chairman of INEC, as one amongst the 68 non-occupation ambassador nominees that he forwarded their name to the Nationwide Meeting for screening and affirmation.

Atiku reacts as Tinubu presents Yakubu appointment
Reacting to the ambassadorial listing on Thursday, December 4, the extinct vice chairman maintained that if he had been the president of Nigeria, he would no longer form this form of transfer below any circumstances.
In accordance with Atiku, Yakubu’s nomination “presents terrible optics for an administration already struggling with credibility,” adding that the nomination despatched a unhealthy signal to INEC management “that partisan, compromised, or poorly executed elections may ultimately be rewarded.”

Tinubu appoints Renewed Hope ambassador
Legit.ng earlier reported that President Bola Tinubu has appointed Okey Ezenwa as the Anambra articulate Renewed Hope Ambassador to mobilise for the 2027 presidential election.
The APC chieftain used to be unveiled as one amongst the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for the 2027 Renewed Hope Agenda re-election campaign and mobilisation within the 36 states and the FCT.
Ezenwo expressed gratitude to the president for the political appointment, adding that it is the biggest one, while addressing journalists on Thursday, December 4.
