Parents and athletes gathered on the track at 6:10 PM for instructions ahead of the on-field introductions. Armed with letters of admission to the game, families proudly took their seats for what was set to be a memorable evening. Assistant Principal Jim Oliver, who also serves as the school’s Activities Director, expressed pride in the student-athletes, stating, “Lee’s Summit West is honored to have your students as part of our athletic and activities programs. This evening, we recognize not only their achievements but also the guidance and dedication of their families.”
Among those recognized was senior standout Perez John, who had his family, friends, and supporters attending in full force. His parents, Eunice and Francis John, walked him onto the field during the senior introductions, a proud moment for the family. Joined by their son Benjamin John, the Johns beamed with pride as Perez was introduced to the cheering crowd.
