Rajasthan is on India Meteorological Division’s (IMD) red alert at present. Baran, Bharatpur, Jhalawar and Karauli districts are on red alert at present. Amid likelihood of heavy rains on July 28, the weather division issued a nowcast warning at 5:35 AM which could remain efficient for the following two hours.

“Gentle rainfall is terribly likely to occur at Kaithal, Rajaund, Assandh, Safidon (Haryana), Bijnaur (U.P.) Sidhmukh, Jhunjunu (Rajasthan) for the length of the following 2 hours,” IMD stated.

Following heavy downpour on Sunday, Baran, Anta, Banswara, Kota, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Tonk and Chittorgarh districts declared faculty holiday for July 28 amid heavy rain forecast, PTI reported.

“Extremely heavy rainfall very likely at isolated locations over East Rajasthan on twenty eighth July with very heavy rainfall for the length of twenty ninth-thirty first July,” the Meteorological Division acknowledged in its most unique weather bulletin.
