On the evening of December 7th, 2025, under the dazzling lights of the Idrinana Hotel in Lokoja, the Kogi entertainment scene witnessed a historic moment. Our very own star, the incredibly talented NYcee of KuliKuli Entertainment USA, was crowned the Female Best Artist of the Year at the inaugural Kogi Extraordinaire Awards (KEA).

For those who followed the journey, you know this was no ordinary victory. The voting process was a heated, nail-biting marathon that tested the resolve of our team and the dedication of our fans. The competition was fierce, a testament to the wealth of female talent emerging from our great state. But through it all, NYcee’s spirit never wavered, and neither did the support from her incredible fans and well-wishers.

This award, widely regarded as the most prestigious in Kogi State, is more than just a trophy—it is a gilded Extraordinaire, a symbol of excellence that now rightly rests in the hands of one of our hardest-working artists. To be recognized by an institution like the KEA, presented by Frozia in partnership with the Ministry of Information & Communications and the Graphic Newspaper, marks a pivotal moment in NYcee’s career and for our label.

In her emotional acceptance speech, NYcee was fervent in her gratitude. She asked me to extend her deepest thanks to every single person who voted, shared a post, or sent a word of encouragement. You saw her through this well-deserved, yet stressful competition, and she has made a promise to you all: she will not fail you.
