Hoodlums Snatch Ballot Box In Imo As Violence Mars Supplementary Elections

Hoodlums guarded by armed security men on Saturday disrupted and snatched the pollbox at Umuarusi Amandugba hall within the Isu local authorities dwelling of Imo Impart.

At the scene, about five thugs invaded the polling devices at about 09:19am, despite the heavy presence of security men, Forefront reports.

Then all all over again, voters had expressed fears over the safety armoured automobile patrolling the dwelling sooner than the snatching of the box.

One amongst them, who launched himself as Chibuike, stated: “We are insecure.

“You saw how they snatched the pollbox with security folk round and to boot you will know it was planned.

“We are insecure and we are no longer procure. How can an election be conducted with an armoured automobile? That is terrifying.”
