Delhi: 5 AAP councillors join BJP, blame corruption, lack of development
In a setback for the Aam Aadmi Social gathering (AAP), five of its councillors in Delhi joined the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) on Sunday.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva welcomed them into the occasion.
Sachdeva acknowledged that the councillors left AAP attributable to the occasion’s corruption and its failure to contribute to Delhi’s sort.
“AAP’s corruption and absence of action are the explanations these five folk dangle joined the BJP. All of them part a widespread design: to contribute to the enchancment of Delhi, guided by PM Modi’s vision, and to work for the welfare of the of us. We welcome such folk,” Sachdeva told ANI.
The five AAP councillors who dangle joined the BJP are Ram Chandra, Pawan Sehrawat, Manju Nirmal, Sughandha Bidhuri, and Mamta Pawan.
In July this 12 months, AAP MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar and veteran MLA Raj Kumar Anand also joined the BJP.
Anand, a member of the Dalit neighborhood, used to be a minister within the Delhi executive led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He stop the occasion over corruption disorders after the AAP’s convener used to be arrested within the excise case.
