Court denies suspended officer Abba Kyari bail, after he was granted temporary two-week bail of N50 million


Abba Kyari, the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, has returned to detention center following the denial of bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Alongside two other senior police officers, Abba Kyari became charged with drug-linked offenses.
The denial of bail became issued by Justice Emeka Nwite, who stated that the defendants failed to rep ample evidence to warrant the court docket’s discretion in granting bail.
The trial think emphasized the need for the court docket to exercise its discretion judiciously, resulting within the decision of no longer granting bail to the defendants.
This ruling comes after Kyari became previously granted a fast two-week bail of N50 million, with a surety of the identical amount, to attend his tiring mom’s burial.
