Call for views on Scottish cladding law

MSPs relish given fervent events a month to present their views on proposed constructing-security rules.

The Scottish Parliament’s Local Authorities, Housing and Planning Committee launched a public consultation on the Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Invoice earlier this week.

Ministers north of the border announced plans in September to introduce the rules over the coming year as phase of an ongoing constructing-security force within the wake of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

The Scottish Authorities mentioned the invoice would assemble “original powers to remediate constructions with unsafe cladding that most unique a ache to lifestyles”.
