A resident of the converse suggested SaharaReporters that the assailants, suspected to be herdsmen came from the surrounding bushes.
She mentioned there would possibly be pandemonium in Mangu metropolis as residents are scampering to security.
The resident who pleaded anonymity mentioned, “As we direct the COCIN Church end to Sabon Kasuwa is on fire and they also’re advancing in direction of varied church buildings in metropolis.”
When contacted to confirm the incident, the Plateau Voice spokesperson for the police, DSP Alabo didn’t reply a call to his mobile phone and didn’t reply to a text message despatched to him.
