Kaduna Diaspora Support Services Statement on the APC 2027 Flag-Off in Kaduna

On October 24, 2026, Kaduna stood still for history. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu chose our state—above every other state in the federation—to flag off the All Progressives Congress 2027 presidential campaign. That choice was not random. It was a verdict. And for the Kaduna diaspora, it confirmed what we have known and documented: Kaduna Diaspora Support for Uba Sani re-election and APC flag-off is not sentiment. It is strategy, backed by evidence.

The 8,000-capacity Kaduna Township Stadium was repainted, decorated with APC flags, and filled to capacity, with governors from all seven North-West states in attendance . The roads leading to the venue were adorned with campaign posters and billboards . This was not a routine rally. This was a statement that Kaduna is the political centre of gravity in Northern Nigeria—and that Governor Uba Sani is the man who made it so.

Governor Uba Sani himself framed it clearly: President Tinubu has demonstrated “unprecedented commitment” to Kaduna through transformative investments—the Kaduna Light Rail, the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Highway, the Kaduna–Birnin Gwari Road, the Kaduna–Kano Rail Project, and federal tertiary institutions across the state . When the President chooses Kaduna to launch his re-election, he is acknowledging that this state has become a showcase of what the Renewed Hope Agenda can deliver.

The Kaduna APC has set a target of two million votes for President Tinubu in 2027, with the state publicity secretary declaring: “There is no better city the president could have chosen than Kaduna. With his choice of Kaduna, we have no doubt that the march to victory has started” . That confidence is not bravado. It is built on a track record that the diaspora has watched, verified, and now endorses.

Let the numbers speak for themselves.

Since assuming office on May 29, 2023, Governor Uba Sani’s administration has initiated 150 road projects covering over 1,355 kilometres across all 23 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State . In October 2026 alone, he disbursed approximately ₦2 billion in compensation to 865 households in Zaria, bringing the total compensation paid to over ₦7 billion to 4,865 households since 2023 . As the Governor himself stated: “Infrastructure gives physical expression to progress, but the fairness with which it is delivered determines whether citizens experience government as a source of reassurance and opportunity” .

This is the governance record that the diaspora trusts. Not rhetoric. Receipts. Not promises. Payments.

The Governor does not stand alone. His executive cabinet has remained steadfastly focused on delivery, and his legislative partners have worked in lockstep toward every win. The result is visible in the sheer scale of the turnout at the flag-off—citizens from every nook and cranny of Kaduna came out to welcome the President, signifying that this government is trusted by its citizenry and by the diaspora alike.

We must specifically commend Hon. Ben Kure, Commissioner for Sports Development, who has served as the most effective liaison between the diaspora and the state government. It was Kure who carried our technocrat inputs directly into the Governor’s office before this campaign cycle. He remains the interface through which Kaduna Diaspora Support for Uba Sani re-election and APC flag-off moves from intention to action.

And we anticipate, with confidence, an early lead and a decisive win for Senator Shehu Sani in Kaduna Central. INEC has cleared him as the APC candidate, and his relationship with the diaspora technical community stretches from Kaduna Polytechnic to the Senate. We will be there to celebrate with him when the results are announced.

To the people of Kaduna State, we say this: no one should be intimidated. Go freely to vote. Vote in blocks. Take your families and friends. Be patient at the polling exercise. And remain watchful—your legitimately cast votes must not be carted away.

The Kaduna diaspora will continue to deploy its expertise to complement the ongoing efforts for re-election. We will monitor the exercise with unparalleled commitment and focus. We are airtight. We are target-focused. And we are watching.

From Kansas City to Kaduna, the message is clear: Kaduna Diaspora Support for Uba Sani re-election and APC flag-off is not a one-day affair. It is a sustained commitment to a government that has proven itself through verifiable action. The President chose Kaduna for a reason. The people showed up for a reason. And the diaspora will remain engaged for a reason.

The march to 2027 has started from Kaduna. And the diaspora is marching with it—eyes open, records kept, and votes protected.
